You can delete your PostShow Host Kit data at any time, all of it or one connected service at a time. PostShow Host Kit is made by 12850923 Canada Inc., doing business as Benabis.
Delete everything: close your account
- Sign in at benabis.com/app and open Account.
- At the bottom, open Close my account and delete my data, tick the box, enter your password and click Close my account.
This deletes at once your shows, transcripts, episode materials, settings, connected accounts and their access tokens, your websites’ connection keys, PostShow Host Kit’s copies of your recordings and clips, and your teammates’ sign-ins. Any subscription is stopped. You get an email when it is done.
What stays: files saved in your own Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, and anything already published on your website or social accounts. Those are yours, and you can delete them there. Billing records that the law requires us to keep (invoices) are kept by our payment processor, Stripe, for the period the law sets. Log entries that no longer name you are deleted after 12 months.
Delete one service’s data
In PostShow Host Kit, open Settings for your show and click Disconnect next to the service. PostShow Host Kit deletes its access token and what it stored from that service straight away. You can also remove PostShow Host Kit’s access from the service itself:
- Google (YouTube, Gmail sending, Calendar, Drive saving): your Google Account, Third-party apps and services, PostShow Host Kit, Delete all connections. To stop the Drive reading, stop sharing your recordings folder with PostShow Host Kit’s service account.
- Instagram, Facebook and Threads: Settings, Apps and websites (or Website permissions on Threads), PostShow Host Kit, Remove. Meta then sends us a deletion request and we delete the data we received from that network. You can check its status at the confirmation address Meta shows you.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Manage app permissions, PostShow Host Kit, Remove access.
- LinkedIn: Settings, Data privacy, Permitted services, PostShow Host Kit, Remove.
- YouTube: the same Google page as above; videos already uploaded stay on your channel.
- Bluesky: Settings, Privacy and security, App passwords, delete the password you made for PostShow Host Kit.
- Substack Notes (through Buffer): disconnect it in PostShow Host Kit, then delete the API key in Buffer under Settings, API.
- Beehiiv or Mailchimp: disconnect it under Settings, Newsletter, then delete the API key in that service.
- Dropbox, Microsoft (OneDrive, Teams, Outlook), Zoom, X, Mastodon: remove PostShow Host Kit under connected or authorized apps in each service’s settings.
Delete one episode
On the episode’s page in PostShow Host Kit, use Delete this transcript. Its transcript, materials and PostShow Host Kit’s copies of its recording and clips are deleted.
