PostShow Host Kit plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, at the prices on our Pricing page when you subscribe. These terms are part of our Terms of Service.
Start free
Every account starts with a free trial of 4 episodes. You add a card when you sign up, and nothing is charged until your fourth episode is prepared or 30 days pass, whichever comes first, so you can see the results before you pay. Beta testers get the beta allowance we tell them about instead.
Paying
- Choose a plan on your Account page. You pay on Stripe’s secure page; PostShow Host Kit never sees your card.
- Monthly plans renew each month and yearly plans each year, on the day you subscribed, until you cancel.
- Your receipts and invoices are under Manage billing on your Account page.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time on your Account page, under Manage billing. There is nothing to call and no form to send.
- Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, then it stops renewing.
- We do not refund the unused part of a month or a year, unless the law where you live requires it.
- Your transcripts and materials stay in your account after the plan ends, until you delete them or close your account.
Changing plans
Switch plans on your Account page at any time. Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of the current period straight away, so you only pay for what you use. This month’s episodes count toward the new plan’s allowance.
Extra re-cuts
Each episode includes its clip and one re-cut. A further re-cut uses one of the month’s episodes rather than a separate charge. If a clip came out wrong because of a problem on our side, write to us and we will give the make back.
Billing mistakes
If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, write to us on our contact page within 60 days and we will refund the mistake in full, to the card you paid with.
Failed payments
If a payment does not go through, we email you and Stripe tries again over the next few days. Your plan keeps working while you update your card. If the payment still fails, the plan ends and new transcripts wait until you choose a plan again; nothing you already made is deleted.
Referral commissions
When a payment is refunded, the referral commission earned on it is reduced by the same share.
Taxes
Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which are added where required.
